New Land Rover Freelander II Commercial

Due to the phenomenal success of supplying the Discovery III since 2005, Nene now offer the Freelander II as a commercial. It is unlikely that the Land Rover factory will produce it for at least 2 years, so if you wish to purchase the Freelander II as a commercial van then talk to our sales team.

Although the towing capacity is 2 tons (3.5 with Discovery III) we felt there would be a strong demand. This is mainly due to the fantastic fuel economy – 35 to 40 mpg can be expected with fabulous driveability. Quietness and performance with Nene’s power upgrade, 190 bhp, and improved fuel economy, make this vehicle even more relaxing to drive with most of the extra power and torque coming in the lower to mid range. Customers will also consider Freelander II Commercial when they have little or no towing requirements and when wishing to control capital purchasing cost. Base “S” model starts at £18,995 + VAT

Due to the lower pricing of the Freelander II, the customer will have more flexibility to look at higher levels of specification, such as SE or even HSE models, rather than mid-range GS or XS Discovery III models. Both automatic and 6 speed manual are available through Nene Overland.

Once you have test driven our demonstrator and enjoyed it’s long legged motorway cruising with fabulous fuel economy, you will see the potential in our Freelander II Commercial.

Demonstrations — Test Drives and consultation Talk to Tony Fullagar or Andrew Harrison-Smith and make an appointment to drive our “GS” demonstrator, 24 hour demonstrations have to be pre-booked due to demand.

Finance — Nene can quote competitive finance packages – subject to customer’s status, packages can be tailored to suit individual business requirements.

Purchase Price — As most customers will choose a varied specification from S to HSE Auto or manual and numerous combinations of accessories, to price your vehicle take the pre VAT Land Rover factory list price and add £1,500 + VAT for the commercial conversion cost.
