4x4 Vehicle Hire
Nene Overland maintains a small fleet of vehicles available for long or short term hire. Mostly Japanese double cab pick-ups such as Nissan Navara or Land Rover Defender 110 – where the customer requires a 3500 kg towing capacity, or a 9 – 12 seater for large family groups etc.
Vehicles can be hired from one day with a daily rate of £80 + VAT with the customer providing their own insurance. Hire rates applicable to longer terms can be provided. Although our service is geared to help customers who need vehicles at short notice for shorter periods. Hire rates for longer terms would become much more competitive, depending on proposed mileage and hire period.
Proof of ID, credit card deposit or full payment at the start of the hire period and proof of Vehicle Insurance is required.
There is an excess of £500 which would be charged to the customer in the event of accident damage should the repair costs exceed £500 – in the event of lower value damage, then whatever the cost would be withheld from the customer deposit, upon return of said vehicle. Vehicles should be returned with the same level of fuel and in a similar state of cleanliness as it was when taken out on hire. If the vehicle has been heavily soiled through heavy work or off road use, then a maximum of £150 + VAT would be charged for vehicle re-clean.
