So many people look at a Land Rover Defender Ambulance and think “That’d make a great camper” Well, think no more, here its is!
Based on a very low mileage (just 35,000 recorded miles) 1997 Defender 130 Wolf Ambulance with 300 TDi engine this has been expertly converted and modified by a specialist company to give three extra belted seats in the rear that converts quickly and easily into a generously sized double bed. The kitchen area includes a 40 litre compressor fridge (very low power consumption) gas hob and sink with capacious storage and cupboards for your equipment.
As well as the huge barn doors at the rear – standard for the insulated Marshall ambulance body – with drop-down step, there is an additional side door with step. To give additional headroom a standard Land Rover Defender Roof has been added to the Ambulance roof for those very useful extra few inches. And it all blends in like it was supposed to be there!. There is also an essential solar panel mounted on the roof to keep you powered while camped up for extended periods.
Totally retrimmed but retaining several nods to its ex-military heritage this camper has it all: excellent facilities for overland travel but plenty of Land Rover Heritage too.
This camper must be seen to be appreciated. Although it is fully converted and ready to go it also offers scope for further modification or fitment of accessories for those planning an extended overland expedition. Please contact our sales team for further details.
