Nene Overland can supply any Defender 90’s as Station Wagons registered after March 2006 keeping the road fund license at £185, not the £400 you would pay on a factory produced 90 Station Wagon.

If you purchase a commercial based hard top van i.e. hard top with county pack and have the interior upgraded rear seats fitted, check out extmoortrim.com or talk to the Nene sales team. You can end up with a County Station Wagon either new or used registered after March 2006 with £185 p.a. road fund license rather than the ridiculous £400 p.a. the Chancellor has now implemented.
The best thing is for a similar cost of a new Defender 90 County you can end up with a better spec. more comfortable bespoke built Nene County Station Wagon.
Depending on the size of rear passengers it may still be lawful to fit 4 x inward facing seats to a Defender 110 or 90 registered after March 2006. Basically all inward facing passengers have to be 12 years or older and at least 1.35 metres in height wearing lap belts.
Nene can add further sound proofing, rubber matting in the rear, heated hi-back seats in the matching Defender cloth or leather, remove-reduce rear seat bulkheads, fit seat riser brackets to front seats to accommodate taller, larger drivers and so much more. Talk to the Nene Sales team for more info.
