The White Hart has been a village inn since the 17th century and continues to offer warm hospitality to our locals, residents and dining guests alike. The White Hart is ideally located for our corporate guests travelling into Peterborough, Stamford or the local area. There are also many tourist attractions for our leisure guests including Burghley House and Peterborough Cathedral. The location of The White Hart also means that the pub is a popular destination for celebration of all kinds; weddings, civil ceremonies, christenings, birthday and anniversary celebrations. Under the umbrella of Stamford Country Inns Ltd, The White Hart has a sister property, The Exeter Arms in Easton on the Hill. The Exeter Arms is a lovingly restored restaurant and bar with six well appointed bedrooms.

Paper Mills, Wansford

If you want to visit for the day or stay on their charming campsite, we guarantee you’ll find plenty to entertain the whole family whatever the weather! Feed the friendly animals, hop on the bumpy tractor ride, or discover the Timeline Barn where you can try on some historic costumes, hunt for eggs in the hay and dig for buried treasure. Make friends with the baby lambs, meet Bonnie the shire horse and say hello to Jolly Joules and Dicky Mint the donkeys. And if that?s not enough, then explore the new straw bale maze, wander round the old working watermill and play in the indoor activity barn. And well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead.

Nene Valley Railway
Nene Valley Railway is the UK’s leading steam engine and locomotive attraction, based at Peterborough’s Nene Valley Station, and covering the stations of Ferry Meadows, Orton Mere, Yarwell Junction, and Wansford. As both a living heritage railway, which is tended to by its loyal band of volunteers, and a thriving attraction for the public to enjoy all year round, Nene Valley Railway offers the chance to experience the thrill of riding a steam engine; learn about the railway?s history; and explore the picturesque surroundings of the Nene Valley area.

For all our customers we welcome you to set up camp at Manor Farm, Nene Overland, Ailsworth, Peterboruogh, PE5 7DL. Arrival at anytime of day is no problem but prior notice will be required. You need to be self contained as there is no electrical hook up, toilets or water, just lots of great local Pubs, restaurants and great things to do while we help, advise and care for your vehicle.
