We’re delighted to provide a first look at the new work light due late 2016. Back by popular demand, and a natural extension of the range of market leading, high performance driving lights, the UTILITY SERIES looks set to establish a new standard in work and scene lighting.
The first lamp to launch in the range will be the 45W, Utility-45, and will incorporate the latest and most advanced LED systems alongside some revolutionary patent-pending design features to maximise light output, functionality, and reliability.
The most striking and noticeable of these features is the ‘MATRIX’ cooling system – a CAE optimised heatsink providing 20% more surface area than the more traditional ‘fin’ heatsink. More surface area equals better thermal conductivity equals the possibility to run the latest high density LEDs (huge lumen/watt performance) at higher drive currents, in other words, you can get the same light from a 45W lamp as you might expect from a 60W unit from any other manufacturer.
Functionality is enhanced by a range of three different interchangeable lenses. Without ultimately compromising the integrity of each unit, users will have the option to specify and switch between either: Wide Diffused, Narrow Diffused, or Dual-Zone Reeded Lens. The latter has been carefully designed to maximise mid-range wide angle spread while simultaneously giving exceptional short range visibility across a broad work area.
The optional Quad Core Dampening System will provide an anti-vibration solution that looks set to further improve both functionality and reliability, alongside an IP69K rating and EMC protection (expected to be CISPR : 2008).
